In a high school setting, the dynamic between a lovesick boy and an indifferent girl unfolds in a captivating way. The story begins with Warus Sajo, a high school student deeply infatuated with a girl named Aka Natatsual. Despite his persistent efforts to win her affection, Aka continually rejects him, showing no interest in his advances. Undeterred, Sajo follows Aka around the school, much to her annoyance.
One day, after yet another rejection, Aka firmly tells Sajo to stop following her. Sajo reluctantly agrees, though his heart remains heavy.
He returns to his classroom, where his classmates notice his unusual behavior. His friend inquires about his well-being, and their teacher comments on Sajo's lack of pursuit of Aka. Sajo’s behavior is puzzling to everyone, given his reputation for being hopelessly devoted to Aka.
As Sajo walks through the school, Aka reminds him again not to stalk her. He coolly responds that he’s merely heading to the washroom, and his friends are baffled by his cold demeanor. The change is stark, especially since Sajo had always been the type to go to great lengths for Aka.
