Yet, behind the scenes, head coach Rassie Erasmus wasn’t entirely satisfied with the performance.

From the very first moments of the game, the Springboks dominated possession, with Siya Kolisi setting the tone by scoring the opening try within nine minutes. The Wallabies were struggling to keep up, and by the time Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu broke through their defense, it looked like South Africa was going to run away with the game.
