Misha Collins, best known for portraying the enigmatic angel Castiel on the hit show "Supernatural", has traded celestial battles for a profoundly human cause: aiding Ukrainian demining efforts. Moved by the plight of civilians facing the invisible but deadly threat of landmines left behind by the ongoing war, Collins is using his platform to make a tangible difference.

During recent visits to the Kyiv and Chernihiv Oblasts, Collins witnessed firsthand the harrowing reality faced by Ukrainian deminers.
"The sheer scale of the problem is difficult to comprehend," Collins shared in a heartfelt video message to his followers. "Imagine a landmass the size of Belgium, Denmark, and the Czech Republic combined, riddled with hidden explosives. It's a terrifying reality for millions of Ukrainians."
He recounted stories of encountering children's toys booby-trapped with explosives, fields once brimming with life now rendered unusable by the threat of landmines, and the tireless efforts of demining teams working tirelessly to reclaim their land, inch by agonizing inch.
