Vanessa Lachey, who made history as the first female lead in the "NCIS" franchise, took to Instagram to express her shock and disappointment.
“Gutted, confused, blindsided,” Vanessa wrote, sharing the show’s logo with a heavy heart (and probably a few tears, let’s be real).
She went on to thank the show's "beloved fans" and promised to "process this news while still being present with my family."
But between the lines, you could practically hear her heartbreak echoin' across the Pacific Ocean.
The Cast Speaks Out: Anger, Gratitude, and a "Huge Loss for Representation"
It wasn't just Vanessa who was feelin' the sting of cancellation. The entire cast took to social media to share their grief, their anger, and their gratitude for the experience.
Tori Anderson, who played FBI agent Kate Whistler, didn't hold back, calling the cancellation a “huge loss for representation” and admitting she was having a "really hard time processing" the news.
