Katherine Heigl, known for her role as Dr. Izzie Stevens on "Grey's Anatomy," recently opened up about a heart-wrenching fear she faced as a working mom. While promoting the second season of her Netflix series "Firefly Lane," Heigl revealed on "The View" that she was terrified her daughter Naleigh didn't love her due to her demanding work schedule.

Heigl adopted Naleigh from South Korea in 2009. Just three days after welcoming her new daughter, she had to fly to Atlanta to resume filming. “At the time, becoming a new mother, I was just like, ‘I got it. I got it. I can handle this,’” Heigl recalled. However, the reality of juggling a grueling 17-hour workday on "Grey's Anatomy" and new motherhood hit hard.

While Heigl was on set, her husband Josh Kelley was the primary caregiver for Naleigh. This led to Heigl spending more time with the triplets who played her goddaughter on the show than with her own daughter.
