As "Blue Bloods" fans brace themselves for the final episodes of the long-running CBS series this fall, star Abigail Hawk has shared some bittersweet news. In a candid interview on the "Think Big With Michael Zellner" podcast, Hawk revealed that there are only three episodes left to film, marking the imminent end of an era for the beloved show.
Abigail Hawk, who has portrayed Detective Abigail Baker since the show's inception, reflected on the series' conclusion. “It is starting to become very real,” Hawk said, emphasizing the emotional weight of the show's impending end. Despite efforts from fans and the crew to save the series, CBS has decided not to renew it. However, Hawk remains hopeful, stating, "Hope never dies, it springs eternal, and you never know. But I think it's been a nice dose of reality that it is ending."
Hawk also expressed optimism that another network might see the value in "Blue Bloods" and pick it up for further seasons.
