"Star-Studded Guest Appearances on Law & Order: SVU"
The iconic crime drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is known for its gripping storylines and talented cast, but another element that keeps viewers hooked is the show's impressive roster of guest stars. From music icons to Broadway veterans, SVU has welcomed a diverse range of talent over its impressive 25-season run.
Ice-T, who plays the tough-talking Odafin “Fin” Tutuola, revealed that he often fields requests from friends in the music industry eager to make a cameo.
“All my friends call me!” he says. “A lot of my friends in the music industry want to be on the show.” He recalled one such instance with rapper Snoop Dogg, who binged 24 hours of SVU with his wife before reaching out to Ice-T for a chance to appear on the show. Ice-T made it happen, and Snoop Dogg landed a guest role just a few episodes later. “We had a great time,” Ice-T fondly remembers.
"Broadway Stars Take on a Different Stage"
New York City, the backdrop of SVU, is also a hub for theater, and Ice-T finds amusement in encountering Broadway performers on set.
“I interrogated SpongeBob off of Broadway, Aladdin, the Genie!” he exclaims. He loves to find out if actors have a musical background, never knowing what hidden talents they might possess.
