The 34-year-old singer, known for her numerous chart-topping hits, surprised everyone by announcing a special connection with two of Hollywood's beloved stars, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. The reason for this joyous news was related to the upcoming release of Reynolds' new movie, *Deadpool and Wolverine*, set to premiere on July 26th.
In her Instagram story, Taylor shared an endearing message to commemorate her “best friend” Ryan Reynolds’ new movie. The post featured a heartfelt caption celebrating the film’s release, but it was what followed that stole the show. Swift announced that she had been given a new, cherished title: godmother to Ryan and Blake’s child.
"Shout out to Wade Wilson, aka my godkids' sperm donor!" Swift wrote at the end of her post, referencing Reynolds' character Deadpool's real name.Lively and Reynolds are parents to four kids — daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4, and another child named Olin, whom they welcomed in February 2023.
They have not revealed the sex of their youngest child.
Swift is also godmother to close friend Jaime King's son Leo Thames, 9. King previously explained to PEOPLE about the decision to name Swift Leo Thames’ godmother.
