Earlier in August, Disney unveiled the official teaser trailer for Disney's Snow White, a live-action reimagining of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Heading into the end of the month, ther teaser has reached a very unfortunate milestone online.
On YouTube, the trailer hosted by the official channel for Walt Disney Studios is currently sitting with around 82,000 likes. Meanwhile, the number of dislikes has now officially passed one million. Though YouTube has hidden video dislike totals from public view by default, the numbers can still be uncovered using browser extensions.
The sheer amount of dislikes compared to likes could obviously be seen as concerning for Disney, as the House of Mouse will be hoping for a huge turnout in theaters after the troubled production.

The remake has been plagued with controversy since its exception. One of the earliest was when the project was criticized by Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage, who suggested that it wasn't progressive to revisit Snow White the Seven Dwarfs because of how the classic film portrayed the dwarf characters.
It was soon after clarified by Disney that "magical creatures" would be joining Rachel Zegler's Snow White in the movie, and there were rumors that the dwarfs would be replaced with human characters of various genders and ethnicities.
