Forget reality TV drama – a real-life bombshell just unfolded in Plymouth, England! A massive unexploded WWII bomb, lurking beneath a seemingly ordinary garden for over 80 years, sent shockwaves through the city, forcing thousands to evacuate and reminding everyone of the lingering echoes of war.

It started with a routine gardening project on St.
Michael Avenue. But what was unearthed wasn’t a hidden treasure or a long-lost family heirloom; it was a 500kg (1,102lb) German bomb, a chilling relic of WWII’s Blitz.
The discovery sent shockwaves through Plymouth, triggering a four-day operation that would test the city's nerves and resilience.

"It's been a very anxious time for us," resident Vicky Brotherton shared, expressing the collective unease felt by thousands.
"Just a massive thank you to everyone who has been involved to end this safely – really impressed with His Majesty's forces."
