The decision to put "Young Sheldon" on hold was met with considerable debate. Contrary to popular belief, this decision didn’t stem from CBS but was influenced by the classic series "The Big Bang Theory," which the show serves as a prequel to. With the final season of "Young Sheldon" being shortened, many storylines were left dangling, including that of Paige Swanson, portrayed by McKenna Grace. The truncation resulted in many narrative threads not reaching a satisfying conclusion, including Paige's.
