The 51-year-old artist shares Hailie with his ex-wife, Kim Scott. On August 23, Hailie took to her "Just a Little Shady" podcast to share the profound effects her father's new music had on her, revealing an emotional side to their father-daughter relationship that fans rarely see.
While discussing the music video for “Somebody Save Me” featuring Jelly Roll, which dropped on Aug.
21, Hailie, 28, told co-host Brittany Ednie, “I watched it in [its] entirety and I don't think I can do it again.”

“I definitely cry every time I hear it at all,” she continued. “And actually, Brittany put the little commercial snippet on today and I was like, ‘Can you turn that down? Like, are you trying to make me cry? ’ ”“Somebody Save Me,” in which Eminem details his struggles with addiction and apologizes to his children — including Alaina Marie Scott, 31, and Stevie Laine Scott, 22, whom he also shares with ex Kim — features an entire verse dedicated to Hailie.
“Hailie, I'm so sorry / I know I wasn't there for your first guitar recital,” he raps on the emotional song, in which he appears to reflect on big milestones he might have missed due to his addiction issues.
