Soap operas are known for their extravagant and dramatic weddings, and General Hospital is no exception. The recent nuptials of Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) were no different, capturing the hearts and imaginations of fans. Behind the scenes, a lot of thought and preparation went into the wedding, especially regarding the fashion choices. Shawn Reeves, the show’s costume designer, provided an in-depth look at what it took to create the stunning attire for this special occasion.
Months of meticulous planning went into the creation of the wedding outfits. Reeves began preparing as soon as he learned about the wedding. Reeves envisioned an old-fashioned, big soap opera wedding. He wanted the event to be grand, joyful, and visually spectacular. Floral color palettes were making a comeback, and Reeves saw an opportunity to create a vibrant, colorful atmosphere.
