A Promising Life Cut Short
Minnesota Vikings' rookie cornerback, Khyree Jackson, tragically lost his life in a devastating car crash in Prince George's County, Maryland. Jackson, a promising 24-year-old NFL player and a fourth-round pick in the 2024 draft, was among three fatalities in the early Saturday morning accident. The accident also claimed the lives of Isaiah Hazel, 23, and Anthony Lytton, Jr., 24, both alumni of Wise Jr. High School alongside Jackson.

The Incident
The accident occurred shortly after 3:14 a.m. on northbound Route 4/Pennsylvania Avenue near Presidential Parkway. Jackson was a passenger in a maroon Dodge Charger driven by Hazel, with Lytton in the rear seat. The Charger was struck by a silver Infiniti Q50, driven by Cori Clingman, who was reportedly attempting to change lanes at high speed. The impact sent the Charger off the road, crashing into tree stumps. Hazel and Jackson were pronounced dead at the scene, while Lytton succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
