Emily Osment has never been shy about her admiration for her brother, Haley Joel Osment. At a recent CBS Summer TCA presentation, the star didn’t hold back when discussing her hopes for a future collaboration. “He needs to write and direct,” Emily, 32, teased, adding with a laugh, “And he’ll hire me! Put that in your paper too. And it’ll be great.” Fans have been eagerly speculating about the possibility of seeing these talented siblings share the screen once again.
The Osment siblings previously worked together on Netflix’s , a project that brought them closer during a challenging time. Emily recalled the unique comfort of having her brother on set during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. “I worked all through COVID, which was terrifying,” she shared. “Knowing where he’d been — you know, he’s my brother — it was comforting to have him there.
” Her brother, Haley, also reminisced fondly about the experience, although he joined the series later than Emily, jokingly admitting, “Emily was on the series for much longer than I was.
