Fans of ABC’s General Hospital are in for a wild ride this week, as the soap opera welcomes back a familiar face with a whole lot of drama in tow: Holly Sutton (Emma Samms).
“Hello, Darling!” the iconic voice purrs from the weekly promo. And just like that, Holly’s back in Port Charles, but this time, she’s not sipping cocktails at The Metro Court. Instead, she’s found herself right in the middle of a thrilling – and potentially deadly – storyline in East Africa.
The Rescue Mission: Will Holly Save Lucky?
As viewers know, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is currently trapped in a dangerous situation in East Africa, facing down a menacing threat from the nefarious Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Holly’s sudden appearance in the same location raises eyebrows – and hopes – amongst fans.
“Could this be the rescue mission we’ve been waiting for?” one fan commented on the General Hospital forum.
“Holly’s tough as nails,” another fan added. “She’s got a knack for getting out of trouble, and she’s definitely got the skills to save Lucky.
”
But Holly’s return isn’t guaranteed to be a happy ending for everyone. Some fans are wondering if she’s there for her own gain, perhaps driven by a hidden agenda that could put Lucky in even more danger.
