Iain Armitage, the young star of "Young Sheldon," recently met up with his on-screen counterpart, Jim Parsons, who portrayed Sheldon Cooper in "The Big Bang Theory." Parsons is currently starring in the Broadway play "Mother Play - A Play in Five Evictions," alongside Jessica Lange and Celia Keenan-Bolger.

On the May 16 episode of "Live with Kelly and Mark," Armitage highlighted Parsons' ability to distance himself from his iconic TV role, noting, “When I watch him on stage, I’m not watching Sheldon, I’m seeing him as his character, which is so impressive.
