Capturing the Charm of Season One
Starting off with a scene that would forever be etched in the memory of countless fans, Supernatural dove right into the heart of drama. The first few seconds were filled with tension as Mary Winchester discovered the malevolent yellow-eyed demon hovering over her baby, Sam. What followed was an inferno that took Mary away, leaving John Winchester battling to run from the fire-infested house, his sons in his arms. This tragedy set him off on an obsessive path of revenge, pulling him into the uncharted realm of supernatural beings.
Along the way, he trained his children to defend against ominous creatures.

Living in Different Worlds
Time accelerates in the first season and we find the Winchester brothers living contrasting lives. Sam has broken free of the family's legacy, choosing a more conventional lifestyle, moving out to live independently. Dean, however, is still tethered to his father, later rallying Sam to help him in their father's disappearance.
Through a series of chilling adventures, the brothers defeat a vengeful spirit, only for the infamous yellow-eyed demon to re-enter their lives, causing Sam profound sorrow with the murder of his lady love.
