For longtime fans of Days of Our Lives, Brady Black’s latest storyline has been a rollercoaster of emotions. Caught between his guilt over Sarah’s accident and his own inner demons, Brady, played by the talented Eric Martsolf, finds himself facing intense internal conflict. In an exclusive interview, Martsolf sheds light on Brady’s journey toward redemption, his overwhelming sense of guilt, and the heartfelt apology he offers to Sarah. But, as always in Salem, things are never as simple as they seem.

At the core of Brady’s current turmoil is his unrelenting guilt over Sarah’s accident, despite being cleared by the police due to a lack of evidence. Rather than feeling relieved or grateful for his freedom, Brady is furious. “He’s like, ‘What are you doing? I did it. Justice needs to be served,’” explains Martsolf. Brady’s obsession with taking the fall for the accident stems from a deeper emotional battle within himself.
He believes that punishing himself is the only way to atone for his past mistakes.
Brady’s guilt is so overwhelming that he rejects any possibility that the accident might not have been his fault.
