The world of "Days of Our Lives" is full of drama, romance, and, of course, plenty of twists and turns. But what happens when the cameras stop rolling? What are the actors like behind the scenes? We recently got a chance to chat with Paul Telfer (Xander) and Linsey Godfrey (Sarah), who shed light on their experience on the show, their unique on-screen chemistry, and what it's like to navigate the sometimes-intense world of daytime drama.

A Clown Mask, a Kidnapping, and a Whole Lot of Laughter
In a recent interview, Paul discussed Xander's latest storyline, which involved kidnapping Susan Banks while wearing a clown mask. It's a role that has tested his acting abilities and provided plenty of laughs both on and off-screen.
"I didn't love it to be fair, like, I mean I enjoyed the job, I enjoyed the storyline, but I just wasn't ready for it," said Paul, reflecting on the challenges of wearing a full-face mask. The limited visibility and the claustrophobic nature of the mask made for some tricky scenes, especially in dimly lit sets.
"Honestly, it was difficult... you know, you've lost all of looking through these tiny little pinhole eyes," he explained, describing the physical and mental hurdles of portraying Xander in this new light.
