"If you don't like Taylor Swift, then, like, you don't understand things."Emily Ratajkowski has never been one to shy away from expressing her opinions, but her recent comments about Taylor Swift have ignited a particularly passionate debate online.
During an episode of her podcast, High Low with EmRata, Ratajkowski made the bold claim that disliking Taylor Swift could be a sign of misogyny.

The model and actress, who has recently embraced her role as a “Swiftie” after attending Swift’s Eras Tour, explained that her newfound admiration for the pop superstar led her to reassess her previous indifference, which she now believes was influenced by misogyny.
Ratajkowski, 32, candidly discussed how she had avoided pop music for much of her life, viewing it through a lens of “snobbery” that was common among her peers. She admitted that she used to dismiss popular music, including Taylor Swift’s work, as lacking substance. However, her experience at Swift’s concert changed her perspective entirely.
“I kind of grew up [with] a little snobbery around my generation,” she said. “I wasn’t somebody who listened to pop music a ton.”

“I was not a Swiftie, and now I’m like, you know what that means? That means I was a misogynist that I didn’t f**k with Taylor Swift,” she declared on the podcast.
