Grab your tissues, General Hospital fans, because we've got some heartbreaking news: Michael Easton, the man behind the charming (and often shirtless) Dr. Hamilton Finn, is scrubbing out for good!

It seems like just yesterday Dr. Finn was gracing our screens with his dreamy blue eyes, quirky personality, and an uncanny ability to cure rare diseases with a single touch. But alas, all good things must come to an end, even in the wonderfully dramatic world of Port Charles.
An Irish Goodbye with a Heartfelt Message
Easton, ever the private gentleman, surprised fans with a pre-recorded Instagram video announcing his departure. He joked about preferring an "Irish goodbye" but wanted to give his fans the respect they deserved.
"I've loved every minute that I've been here," Easton shared with a sincere smile, his voice laced with emotion. "I want to thank the entire cast and crew for allowing me to share their stage this past 10 years."

He went on to express his gratitude towards the fans, acknowledging their unwavering support throughout his journey on the show.
"Most importantly, I want to thank all of you for the kindness and love you've shown me and my family," Easton said, his voice cracking slightly.
