As fans eagerly anticipate the continuation of Yellowstone, excitement has reached a fever pitch with the release of the first trailer for Season 5 Part 2 on August 30th. ย Kevin Costner, in his role as John Dutton, is seen rallying his family to defend what they hold dear. ย This much-awaited preview promises a tumultuous continuation of the saga set against the scenic backdrop of Montana.

Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) teases going to extreme measures to keep him and wife Monica (Kelsey Asbille) safe. โWhat Iโm doing isnโt for the ranch,โ Kayce says to Monica. โItโs for us.โ
And Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley) puts in a threatening call to sister Beth (Kelly Reilly). โYou destroy me, you destroy yourself,โ he tells her over the phone.But Beth wonโt be intimated. โUnlike you, I keep my promises,โ she responds.
The teaser also shows Jamie rushing to shred papers as the FBI pays a visit to Montana.
AlthoughYellowstone planned to end with season 5, reports surfaced earlier this week claiming that Paramount Network began negotiations for a potential sixth season led by Reilly, 47, and Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler.
