The debate over who is the greatest basketball player of all time (GOAT) has long divided fans, with names like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant frequently dominating the conversation. Recently, former NBA star Stephon Marbury reignited the controversy with his bold statements, positioning Michael Jordan as the unparalleled GOAT, far above LeBron James.

In a recent interview, Marbury didn't hold back. "LeBron’s a great player, don’t get me wrong," Marbury acknowledged, but quickly added, "But better than Michael Jordan? It’s not even close." Marbury argued that Jordan's impact on the game is so profound that comparing him to others, even someone as accomplished as LeBron, feels misplaced. "Jordan shouldn’t even be ranked," Marbury continued. "It should be Kobe, then LeBron, and then you can pick guys after that".

Marbury also highlighted Kobe Bryant's legacy, stating that LeBron hasn't even surpassed Kobe in the GOAT conversation.
