Remember that time Dean Winchester faced down Lucifer? Or when Sam battled a literal clown? Well, the Supernatural drama continues, but this time it's happening off-screen. Jared Padalecki, who played Sam for 15 seasons, is finally addressing the fan frenzy surrounding the announcement of a prequel series – one he wasn't initially told about.

When news broke that Jensen Ackles (aka Dean Winchester) was developing a prequel series titled The Winchesters, fans were ecstatic. But Padalecki? Not so much.
The actor, seemingly caught off guard by the announcement, took to Twitter with a now-infamous response to Ackles's tweet about the project. “Dude. Happy for you,” Padalecki wrote, “Wish I heard about this some way other than Twitter. I'm excited to watch, but bummed that Sam Winchester had no involvement whatsoever."
Fans initially thought it was a joke, but Padalecki quickly clarified, “No.
It's not. This is the first I've heard about it. I’m gutted.”
Cue the collective gasp of the Supernatural fandom. Had the Winchester brothers, inseparable on screen, had a real-life falling out?
