In a future where all of humanity is suddenly petrified by a mysterious green light, we meet two best friends, Taiju and Su, whose lives are changed forever. The story begins just a few hours before the petrification event, with Taiju nervously preparing to confess his feelings to Yuhira, the girl he has been in love with for five years. Su, ever the jokester, offers him a "love potion" to help, but Taiju, determined to do it on his own, refuses. Unbeknownst to Taiju, Su’s so-called love potion is just gasoline, a harmless prank.
With his heart pounding, Taiju calls Yuhira to meet him under a tree at their school. Just as he begins his heartfelt confession, a bright green light envelops the entire earth, petrifying every human in an instant. Taiju, in his last conscious moment, throws himself in front of Yuhira in a desperate attempt to protect her. The world is plunged into chaos as people, frozen in stone, remain alive yet trapped in darkness.
For centuries, the earth changes dramatically, cities collapse, and nature reclaims the land. Taiju, however, refuses to lose hope. Clinging to his consciousness, he dreams of Yuhira and prays for her survival.
