Satomi's life has been marked by tragedy and hardship since childhood. As a refugee in a disaster-stricken camp, he encountered a monstrous entity that left a lasting scar on his psyche. Years later, now working for a civil security company, Satomi grapples with his past while dealing with the present’s harsh realities.
In a recent mission, Satomi and his partner are summoned to a crime scene by an inspector who distrusts him. When they arrive on the fourth floor of a building, the scene is grim: two inspectors have been killed, and a masked man is the prime suspect.
Despite being ordered to wait, Satomi’s impatience leads him to kick down the door and confront the man, who turns out to be a formidable foe with the power to contort his body unnaturally. The man escapes, leaving Satomi to manage the aftermath and secure the area.
Meanwhile, Satomi’s partner, Joo, encounters an injured man who transforms into a monstrous spider. As Joo attempts to fend off the creature, Satomi arrives and realizes that standard bullets are ineffective against it.
With special black bullets that can halt regeneration, Satomi and Joo manage to subdue the spider. The girl who had earlier been injured is revealed to be a cursed child—a special individual born to mothers infected with a monster virus, possessing extraordinary abilities.
