Satomi's life has been marked by tragedy and hardship since childhood. As a refugee in a disaster-stricken camp, he encountered a monstrous entity that left a lasting scar on his psyche. Years later, now working for a civil security company, Satomi grapples with his past while dealing with the present’s harsh realities.
In a recent mission, Satomi and his partner are summoned to a crime scene by an inspector who distrusts him. When they arrive on the fourth floor of a building, the scene is grim: two inspectors have been killed, and a masked man is the prime suspect. Despite being ordered to wait, Satomi’s impatience leads him to kick down the door and confront the man, who turns out to be a formidable foe with the power to contort his body unnaturally.
