Everyone back in the village always thought Saorin was a chicken, a total scaredy-cat. He was the kind of guy who’d cross the street if he saw a stray cat, the type to faint at the sight of blood, probably even cry at a sad commercial. But little did they know, this “cowardly loser” was about to get a crash course in zombie slaying and ancient martial arts, all thanks to a mysterious (and seriously badass) girl named Huo.

Saorin was a simple college student, living the city life, miles away from his dusty old village. His grandpa had recently passed, so he’d made the trek back home to pay his respects. But his somber trip took a sharp turn when the local police chief, Sue, called him down to the station with some unsettling news.
“Your grandpa’s grave… it’s been dug up, Saorin,” Chief Sue explained, his voice heavy with concern. The only witness was a rambling drunkard who swore he’d seen the whole thing – a mysterious figure, gravestones falling like dominoes, the whole shebang.
Spooky stuff.
The real kicker? His grandpa’s body was the only one missing. And his family, the Chos, weren’t your average rural clan. They were descendants of powerful martial artists, which made the whole thing feel like more than just some petty grave robbery.
