The name Jessica Alba is synonymous with iconic roles in "Fantastic Four" and "Honey". However, her professional relationship with Jensen Ackles has cast a shadow over her otherwise stellar reputation. Ackles, now a prominent figure on Prime Video's "The Boys", recounted his harrowing experience working alongside Alba on the Fox sci-fi series "Dark Angel" from 2000 to 2003.

Ackles discussed their relationship in an episode of the podcast ‘Inside of You With Michael Rosenbaum‘, understanding that he was “the new kid on the block, and got picked on by the lead.
”He shared that their sibling-like relationship consisted of constant bickering and arguments, stating “like the worst kind of bickering a brother and sister could do.
She had it out for me. It wasn’t that she didn’t like me. She just was like, ‘Oh, here’s the pretty boy that network brought in for some more window dressing because that’s what we all need.'”
He quickly shared how he didn’t let the comments slide and gave back to Alba, stating how they both went back and forth at each other. However, Ackles did confirm that the two shared a mutual respect for one another and were still there for each other in times of need.

“My grandfather died while I was shooting and she literally just walked into my trailer and held me for half an hour,” he said.
“So it was that kind of a relationship. And again, if she walked in [now] we’d be all hugs. But she didn’t make it easy on me on set.”Ackles took on the role of Alec in Dark Angels before landing his star role as Dean Winchester in the drama series Supernatural.
Although there are some speculations for the series to continue, nothing definitive has been confirmed yet.“I love Jess, which I know kind of contradicts what I just said.”
The actor respectfully understood Alba and her attitude at the time, considering she was young and under a lot of stress.
“She was under an immense amount of pressure on that show. She was young, she was in a relationship with one of the guys [co-star Michael Weatherly], and that was rocky and causing some undue stress, I believe, on set.”
