The entertainment world has been buzzing with anticipation since word got out that "Supernatural" heartthrob Jensen Ackles was teaming up with "Chicago" mastermind Derek Haas for a new thriller series, "Countdown". And guess what? The clock is officially ticking.

Hold onto your fedoras, folks, because this action-packed thriller is set to start filming in the heart of Los Angeles on September 30th.
That's right, in just a few short weeks, Ackles will be trading his demon-hunting boots for the gritty streets of LA as he steps into the role of Detective Mark Meachum.
A Cast Ready to Explode
But Ackles isn’t the only one bringing the heat. "Countdown" boasts a cast packed with talent, and if the whispers from the set are anything to go by, the chemistry between them is already electric.
"The cast that's been established so far has been like, 'I get where their heads are at.
' They're getting really good actors," shared Eric Dane, known for his role in HBO’s "Euphoria," and who will be playing seasoned FBI agent Nathan Blythe in the series.
