Bryan Craig, best known to daytime fans as Morgan Corinthos on General Hospital, is opening up about a terrifying health crisis that could have ended tragically. In a candid conversation on Maurice Benard's podcast, "State of Mind," Craig revealed a harrowing journey that involved a botched surgery, a dependence on painkillers, and ultimately, a newfound appreciation for life.

It all began, Craig explained, with a seemingly routine surgery on his head. But what should have been a straightforward procedure quickly turned into a nightmare.
"It was a botched surgery," Craig revealed, his voice tight with lingering discomfort. "They nicked my occipital nerve in the back of my head."

The result was agonizing and debilitating. "For three or four months, I couldn't move my head to the left, to the right, up, or down," he shared, painting a vivid picture of his ordeal.
"I couldn't lay it on a pillow."
For anyone, this kind of chronic pain would be unbearable. But for Craig, who openly admits to struggling with insomnia, the sleep deprivation compounded the agony, pushing him to his limits both physically and mentally.
