Kirsten Storms, beloved by "General Hospital" fans for her portrayal of the ever-stylish Maxie Jones, recently shared a behind-the-scenes mishap that's both hilarious and oh-so-relatable.
Let's just say, it involved a whole lotta coffee and a face that looked like it had gone a few rounds with a...well, let's let Kirsten tell it.

On August 8th, Kirsten took to Instagram with a photo that left fans both concerned and in stitches.
Sporting what appeared to be a very unfortunate black eye (or was it a mud mask gone wrong?), she captioned the pic, "One of those 'funny story, but not funny when I need coffee' moments..."
She went on to explain that she'd been the victim of an exploding coffee canister.
"I've opened several canisters of illy coffee tins," she wrote, "and never have the grounds exploded out of that cute metal container.
