With Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) already slaying as Soldier Boy and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (John Winchester) joining the cast for Season 4, all eyes are on Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) to complete the unholy trinity.
Showrunner Eric Kripke, the mastermind behind both Supernatural and The Boys, has never been shy about his desire to work with his former Winchester brothers again. After snagging Ackles and Morgan, it seemed like only a matter of time before Padalecki would join the party.
"It would be a bummer to not have Jared on the show at this point," Kripke admitted in an interview, practically echoing the sentiments of fans worldwide.
The holdup? Padalecki was busy leading the CW’s Walker, leaving little room in his schedule for a The Boys cameo.
