In a realm where heroes were desperately needed, a young orphan named Setszu, alongside another boy named Tomoma, was summoned to a distant world called Dinia. The people believed that the gods had sent them as saviors to rescue the nation from its dire plight. The grand and imposing king welcomed them with great ceremony, declaring them as the kingdom's heroes.
Setszu, however, was not impressed. He scowled at the pomp and circumstance, expressing his frustration at being thrust into this role without any say in the matter.
He felt it was unfair for others to offload their problems onto them, especially when they had no clue about what was truly happening.
Despite his initial reluctance, Setszu decided to commit to his new reality. He threw himself into rigorous training, much to the bewilderment of Tomoma, who was overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty. Tomoma confessed his apprehension about becoming embroiled in a war in a foreign land, and he was frightened by the monsters and demons that lurked in this strange world.
Setszu, with a pragmatic outlook, explained that complaining wouldn’t change their situation. They had been brought here and had to adapt to survive.
