If you have been an avid follower of the "House of the Dragon" series, you are likely familiar with Nettles, the unexpected girl who rises to become a dragonrider – but it seems Rhaena has taken over her storyline in the show.In case you have absolutely no idea who I’m talking about, Nettles is the only female dragonseed to appear in the books and plays a very important role.
At age 16, she achieves a remarkable feat by taming a wild dragon named Sheepstealer in the Vale of Arryn.Nettles devotedly brings the beast a dead sheep every morning, slowly earning its trust and eventually riding it into battle for Rhaenyra and Daemon.

However, some fans think we might never get to see Nettles in House of the Dragon season three, as it seems Rhaena has taken over a large part of her storyline by finding Sheepstealer.
In a press conference about the upcoming third season of House of the Dragon, producer Ryan Condal clarified exactly what’s going on with the two storylines. he explained: “I think that’s a ‘please stay tuned and keep watching the story.
’ I will say that we love Rhaena as a character and we’ve really done a lot of legwork to set her up from the beginning as somebody in this Targaryen household who does not have a dragon.
