When it comes to the latest season of *House of the Dragon*, many fans have been clamoring for more interaction between Helaena Targaryen and her dragon, Dreamfyre. In the *Fire & Blood* lore, Helaena is known as a dedicated dragon rider, yet throughout this season, audiences never get to witness her soaring through the skies on Dreamfyre. This apparent disconnect has left viewers feeling a void, especially those who were eagerly waiting to see this much-anticipated dragon-rider duo in action.

It seems like we’re not the only ones who feel annoyed over this decision by the writers as Phia Saban, who plays Helaena in House of the Dragon has spoken out about her feelings about her lack of interaction with Dreamfyre.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Phia was asked: “Helaena doesn’t want to ride her dragon into battle, but do you? How do you feel about missing out on the big dragon battles so far?”The actress responded: “Yeah! It’s House of the Dragon, and I’ve got a dragon, and I haven’t got on it.
I’m rusty. I really wanted to get on the dragon. I went and watched a few people on the buck this season, and I was so jealous.“I’d really love to get on the dragon, or at least have a scene with Dreamfyre.
