Caraxes has been at Harrenhal as Daemon has wrestled with his loyalty, finally able to leave once his bonded Targaryen dedicates his army to Rhaenyra.
House of the Dragon season 2 ends with the army on the march, the war truly ready to begin as conflict finally approaches.As for the dragon himself, he hasn't had much to do since season 1, something that will no doubt be rectified in season 3.
